FAQ
Devoted 30 is a timer based program. The Devoted 30 Timer App allows you to keep pace throughout your entire workout without the hassel of keeping track of reps. The timers varry depending on which Tier you are on. Simply start the timer for your Tier and begin your workout. The Devoted 30 Timer will give you countdowns and let you know what exercise you are starting. The Timer makes it easier to focus no your form, breathing, and pace without worrying about starting and stopping a stopwatch inbetween sets.
Devoted 30 is a progressive program. Tier 1 is geared towards people who do not have a regular workout routine established and are looking to start off slow. The weekly workouts get harder as you move through each Tier. Once Tier 1 is complete, move onto Tier 2, etc. If you have a current workout routine and consider yourself to be in moderate shape, you may want to start the Tier 2 program.
Devoted 30 has three parts to each workout. Heart Health, Strength, and Rest. The goal of the Heart Health exercises is to get the heart rate up and your blood pumping. The Strength exercises are selected to help build healthy muscles and bones. And the Rest period, of course, is designed to give your body a little recovery time between exercises.
Since Devoted 30 is a progressive program, 3 days a week is a great launching point. As you gain strength you may find yourself wanting more. If this is the case you can do one of a few things:
1) Workout as many consecutive days as you would like. When you finish Days 1-3 for a week, simply move onto the next week. This will fast track you to compelte the Tier. When you finish the Tier, simply move onto the next Tier.
2) Add in a different type of workout on the days you are not completing a Devote 30 workout. Going for a walk or a run, doing some yoga, playing tennis with friend, or squeezing in any other workout you enjoy are all options.
